LA SEO is a boutique agency that provides services for a number of different clients. AutoZone is one of their clients. Please refer to the URL for the client you are writing before you begin the assignment.

You are writing category descriptions. This customer-facing marketing copy is intended to sell the products within the category.

Please refer to the client URL listed in column C to get a feel for potential customers.

Tone/Voice:

  • Please refer to the company as AutoZone.
  • Use first person when referring to the company.
  • Download and refer to the Brand Voice Guidelines in Column D.
    • If there are not any Brand Voice Guidelines, refer to the company website to get a feel for the tone and voice.
  • Descriptions should be written in a natural, conversational tone that describes the products and product benefits in each category.
  • Whenever possible, avoid using the word “will” and writing in future tense. The copy is stronger when you instruct the reader to do something now. For example:
    •  Good: As you hit the party, you will be the center of attention with a seven-point, fabric-covered foam crown that reaches for the stars.
    • Better: Hit the party in your seven-point, fabric-covered foam crown that reaches for the stars and be the center of attention.

Keywords:

  • Use each keyword once.
  • Spread keywords out in content, not all in same paragraph.
    • Ideal keyword placement is one in opening paragraph, one in body, one in conclusion.
  • If applicable, include hyperlinks to appropriate phrases using the anchor text and corresponding URL in the special instruction column.

Format:

  • Preferably 3-4 paragraphs with H2 headers at the beginning of each paragraph.
  • Do NOT use the category name as any of the paragraph headers, as it will already be on the page.
  • Do not list keywords at the top of your article.
  • Here is an example of what they already have on other pages of their website on which we should base our formatting:
    https://www.autozone.com/parts/ignition-tune-up-and-routine-maintenance

After the category description is complete:

  • Copy and paste the content (DO NOT COPY THE LIST OF KEYWORDS IF YOU PUT THEM AT THE TOP OF YOUR DOCUMENT) into this free online converter
    • Use CTRL + V to paste content
    • Click on HTML
    • Click on Clean
  • Copy and paste the clean HTML text to the submit form.
    • Double check to make sure no extra text was added to to the end of your document. (see below)extra text
  • You must submit the the content two ways:

    1. Word Document
      • Save content WITHOUT HTML codes.
      • Use the category name listed in column D of the spreadsheet as the filename.
      • Put AutoZone in the subject line of the email and send to [email protected]
    2. Google Form (Use link in column F of green header bar for the corresponding order)
      • URL – copy/paste URL from column C of the spreadsheet
      • Category Name – copy/paste category name from column D of the spreadsheet
      • Assignment # – copy/paste number from column F of the spreadsheet
      • Category Description BEFORE HTML conversion – copy/paste the category description as you wrote in on your Word document BEFORE you run it through the html conversion.
      • Category Description AFTER HTML conversion – copy/paste the clean HTML content from the HTML converter

Fill Up Anywhere

Ensuring that your car or truck’s tires are correctly inflated is one of the simplest, yet most important things you can do to keep your vehicle running safely and smoothly. Underinflated tires may lead to a variety of serious issues including tire problems, vehicle damage and poor handling. However, if you are sick of the hassle driving to the gas station and waiting in long lines to use the air pump, you are not alone. Fortunately, AutoZone has got you covered. With our wide assortment of portable tire inflators to choose from, you can start filling up your tires right at home. So instead of taking a trip to the gas station air pump, visit your nearest AutoZone store, and check out our selection of the best portable tire inflators for cars and trucks.

Is Driving With Low Tire Pressure Really Dangerous?

You may be wondering, “Why do I need to find portable tire inflators near me?” What is the harm in driving with my tires a little low?” Driving with low tire pressure is actually quite dangerous. Tires with low PSI do not have a firm grip on the road, making your car less responsive during sharp curves, quick maneuvers or other tight situations. Driving on low tires is never worth the risk of having an accident and endangering yourself and others, especially not when portable tire inflators make it fast and straightforward to keep your tires adequately inflated at all times. There are portable tire inflators available to meet every need. At AutoZone, you can select from cordless options, high-powered choices and even tire inflators with LED lights that allow you to work in dark or dimly lit conditions.

Under-inflated Tires

Not only do properly inflated tires keep you safe while driving, routinely inflating your tires will save you money on tire replacements and potential vehicle damage. Under-inflated tires cause the weight of the vehicle to rest improperly, putting unnecessary strain on your suspension, braking system, wheel rims and more. Furthermore, when tires are low on air, more of the tire surface touches the road, creating heightened levels of friction and heat. This heat may eventually build up to a breaking point, causing a severe tire blowout. Even without a sudden tire disaster, the increased surface area in contact with the road puts excessive wear on tire treads, walls and interiors, diminishing your tire’s overall longevity.

Check Your Tire Pressure

Many vehicle owners mistakenly assume that they do not need to check their tire pressure or inflate their tires unless the tires visibly appear low. In reality, you should check your tire pressure at least once per month and inflate your tires as often as needed. Tires may need air even if they do not show visual signs of being low. Tires should always be kept within 6 PSI of manufacturer recommendations. Say goodbye to the gas station air pump, and quickly inflate your tires whenever and wherever needed. Shop AutoZone online or in-store for the lowest prices on portable tire inflators.

The Importance of Windshield Washer Fluid

Your windshield wipers are imperative to the safe operation of your vehicle in less-than-perfect conditions. However, they can’t do their job properly without having the right amount of windshield washer fluid on their side. At AutoZone, we offer a wide range of options so you can find the best windshield washer fluid for cars and trucks on your budget, and you can get the crisp, clear view you need while you’re behind the wheel in one quick shopping stop.

Top It Off

Windshield wiper fluid is formulated to keep your view as unobstructed as possible while you’re on the move without freezing or causing other issues that can actually worsen your view. It can be used to wash and wipe away dirt and debris you encounter between destinations with a simple press of a button so that your perception of the road ahead never has to be anything but optimal. Over time, of course, the fluid gets used up and needs to be replaced. Your system only uses a miniscule amount of fluid every time you activate it, but even so, it’s always a good idea to top off this fluid at every service pit stop you make, just to ensure that you have the fluids you need on hand and that this important aspect of your vehicle doesn’t end up being overlooked.

Water Won’t Cut It

Water is never, ever a suitable substitute for actual windshield wiper fluid. Unlike water, proper chemically-treated fluids are resistant to freezing, which allows you to use your wipers to clean your windshield in even sub-zero conditions in many cases. That being said, not all washer fluid is rated for freezing temperatures either. Bug wash, for example, is a soapier mixture used during warm spring and summer months to easily remove bug splatter from windshields, but it will freeze in colder months. If you use this product, it will need to be completely drained and replaced with a fluid containing antifreeze before the weather turns cold. A fluid’s temperature tolerance can typically be found clearly spelled out on its front label, but for those who are uncertain about what exactly they need from a fluid, our experts at every AutoZone location can offer some valuable advice on choosing the right product for any situation. Simply search “windshield washer fluid near me” to find one of our stores and head in with any questions you might have about choosing a fluid or the replacement process.

Simple and Affordable

At AutoZone, we focus on quality, and provide every DIY mechanic with exactly what they need to perform maintenance at home, no matter how big or small the job might be. However, we also offer the lowest prices on windshield washer fluid and other tools, fluids and accessories because we know how important it is to stick to your budget. Search the available windshield fluids in our online stock or head into your local store to find everything you need to make this maintenance stop as quick and easy as possible.

Or even worse, nothing happens. What could possibly be wrong? Your battery isn’t that old. Could it be the alternator or the starter? You pop the hood and eyeball your battery and sure enough, you spot visible corrosion on the terminals.
