IMPORTANT: Saving Instructions changed on 7.16.2019

These articles will be posted on article directories around the Internet and are being used to increase traffic to the client website. They don’t need to be heavily researched and can be pretty generic, but should still be informative.

Tone/Voice:

  • Each Link Vehicle article should match the tone of the Target URL provided in the special instructions, as the client is planning to post the article to that website.
  • Write the articles in a positive or neutral tone.
  • Articles should not come across as “selling” anything.
  • Use 2nd or 3rd person voice.

Keywords:

  • Use the keyword exactly how it is given – don’t add any words or punctuation to it, even if it is grammatically incorrect, misspelled, etc. (Fixing capitalization errors is OK.)
  • Use the primary keyword and the secondary keyword (if there is one) at least once.
  • If the keyword is the name of a person, read about that person. Include something of real value surrounding the person and/or what they do. Use their name as an example of an expert within the industry.
  • Try to use the keywords as close to the beginning as you can, ideally in the second or third paragraph.
  • Avoid using the Primary keyword in the last paragraph.

Format:

  • Include the keyword link text and URL at the top of the page. (see examples)
  • Titles: Use Heading 2 (H2) heading style in Word. Click here to learn more about heading styles.
  • Headings: Please use headings throughout the article. Use the H2 heading style only.
  • You may include a bulleted or numbered list, but please don’t include more than 8 bullet points. (4-6 bullets is better)

Important Information:

  • If a Company URL is given, click on the link and go to the website FIRST to get a feel for what the company offers and make your article relevant.
  • Do not use the client name or any kind of product names unless they are part of the keyword phrase or the special instructions allow for it.
  • If a location is part of the keyword, please do not focus on that location unless the keyword requires it.
    • Not focusing on location: If the keyword is “AC in Florida,” your only mention of the location would be in the keyword itself.
    • Focusing on the location: If the keyword is “Beaver Bend lodging,” you would focus on the area because it is more specific – the lodging is located in that particular spot and you could talk about things to do in the area, etc.

Linking:

  • Use keyword 1 (Link Text 1) in column D as a link one time within the content and link it to URL 1 in column E
  • Use keyword 2 (if applicable) (Link Text 2) as a link one time within the content and link it to the URL 2 in column N
  • Add at least 1-2 additional resource links that link to other resources BUT NEVER TO COMPETITORS. Neutral sites like businessweek.com, cnbc.com, forbes.com, entrepenuer.com are good choices as long as they do not have any existing links to competitors of our client.
  • The keyword links must be relevant to the article.
  • If possible, place the links in the beginning or middle of the article, but never in the last paragraph.

Restrictions:

  • Do not mention or link to any company that could be considered a competitor of the client.
  • The content must NOT make false claims about what the client has said or done. Avoid promotional language about products or services like “these are the best running shoes available.”
  • The content should not be a biography of the client
  • The client (person or company) mentioned in the content must be incidental rather than implying that the client is sponsoring the content.
  • Save the article as “ID keyword” (no hyphen or underscore).
    • Example: “1505 Best garage floor epoxy”
  • Send your articles to [email protected] with “LinkVehicle SEO – ID# – keyword” in the subject line of your email.
  • Example: “LinkVehicle SEO – 1505 – Best garage floor epoxy”

NOTE: Only use underscores in the saved name. Do not include other punctuation such as commas or semicolons

How To Legally Obtain Information on Someone

If you are trying to track down a long-lost relative, are thinking of hiring a new employee, or just want to learn more details about someone in your personal life, there are several ways that you can obtain information about a person legally. This information can be used to learn whether or not a person has a criminal past or is hiding other important details. Here are some of the best ways to legally obtain information on someone.

Perform a Background Check

You can have a background check performed on a person to get the information that you need. If you’re a hiring manager and thinking of hiring a particular applicant, you can ask for consent to perform a background check. There are services that provide detailed reports on a person’s background that include criminal history, previous work experience, and possibly even financial records.

Search Through Public Records

Another great way to get information is to search through public records in your state. These records are made by government agencies and required by law to be stored. In addition to criminal records, you can search for public records that provide details on marriages and divorces, births and land ownership. Intelus and other similar services make it easier for you to search through these records.

Hire a Private Investigator

A reputable private investigator can learn more about a person without violating any laws. These professionals are skilled in launching investigations that make it possible to obtain information that’s often hard to find. A report of the private investigator’s findings can be presented to you confidentially so that you can review the details. Hiring one of these professionals may be especially advantageous if you suspect that a person is involved in fraudulent activities or infidelity.

Ask Friends and Family Members

Simply asking a person’s friends and family members questions can help you get the answers that you need. You might be surprised to learn how willing these people are to share information with you. You can also try asking a person’s neighbors and work colleagues if they’d be willing to provide more details. Just know that the person in question will likely find out that you were asking about him or her, and you could be met with hostility from this person.

There are many ways to learn more about a person. As long as you stay within the confines of the law, you can get to know many personal details that could influence certain decisions about the individual in question.

Different Ways To Surprise Your Loved One

It can sometimes seem daunting to find the perfect gift for someone you love. If you’ve run out of ideas, here are some great thoughts to get you started.

Personalized Perfume

Smell is one of our most powerful senses, and one that is closely linked to our memory. Imagine creating a one-of-a-kind scent for your sweetheart, mother, sister or friend. Not only will you be able to choose individual olfactory notes that remind you of your special someone, you can also design your own bottle. Don’t worry if that sounds overwhelming, numerous online sources exist to help you.

Cookie Bouquet

There are several ways to show your loved ones how much you care. One idea is to surprise them with a gourmet cookie bouquet. You can easily order the gourmet cookies online and have them shipped to your loved ones. Many companies offer a variety of gourmet cookie bouquets to fit any occasion.

Smart Rings

If your special friend is tired of wearing a fitness tracker on his or her wrist, or might want to try something new, then a smart ring can be a fun option. While it is fairly new technology, it is a much smaller and more discreet option than wrist models. Smart rings still monitor steps, pulse, sleep, and calories burned and are usually waterproof.

Beauty Subscriptions

Beauty subscriptions or “makeup boxes” are the gift that keeps on giving. Each month your loved one will receive a new box of beauty products that can include anything from scented lotions and oils to makeup and anti-aging products. You can submit preferences or let each month be a surprise. Products can be from top brand names or unique companies you may have never heard of. Either way, after a year-long beauty subscription, your special someone is sure to have found a few new favorites.

Gift giving can get to be a bit stagnant if you don’t think outside of the box. Try one of these out-of-the-ordinary options to show the one you care about that you put time and effort into finding a gift that is truly unique.

Helpful Hints for Hiring a Bail Bondsman

When you or a loved one is arrested, one of the first things that comes to mind is getting out of jail as quickly as possible. In many cases, that means hiring a bail bondsman. Finding the right bondsman is an important decision, but how do you know what to look for during the selection process? Below are a few tips to help you make the right choice.

Proper Credentials

Most states require a bail bondsman to be licensed. If your state is one that necessitates such licensing, you should select a bondsman who meets all state regulations. If you use the Internet to search for bail bonds Washington PA, or in your specific area, you can use resources such as the Better Business Bureau to help identify bondsmen who meet such requirements and have strong reputations among clients.

Relevant Services

Immigration bonds, surety bonds, transfer bonds and federal bonds are just some of the many bonds you may need. When picking a bondsman, it is important to find one who offers the specific services you require. Additionally, legal troubles aren’t confined to business hours, so selecting a bondsman who provides around-the-clock assistance, including holidays and weekends, should be considered.

Professional Impression

Trust is important in any relationship, and that is certainly the case when it comes to hiring a bail bondsman. Matters of the law can be complicated, so you will want to have your bondsman take the time to carefully walk you through the bail bonds process. Be sure to ask questions so that you feel comfortable with the situation and understand the fees he or she will charge. Many bondsmen offer client testimonials or references that prospective customers may find helpful. You also might want to solicit the advice of your lawyer or legal representative, as he or she likely will have had extensive dealings with local bail bonds professionals.

While facing legal trouble can be a difficult and overwhelming experience for an individual, finding a good bail bondsman can provide a feeling of comfort and relief. Follow these easy tips to select a bail bondsman to help with your situation.

Try to make the city very much secondary to the topic it’s paired with. For example, if the keyword was “dentist in Tallahassee,” you could write an article about:

  • 3 things to look for in a dentist (Here are three things to keep in mind as you search for a dentist in Tallahassee.)
  • 3 things to avoid in a dentist (Here are three things to watch out for as you search for a dentist in Tallahassee.)
  • Why you should consider dental insurance (Before you make your next appointment with your dentist in Tallahassee, here are four reasons why you might consider dental insurance.)
  • How to take care of your teeth in between trips to the dentist’s office (If you want to make sure your next visit to your dentist in Tallahassee is short and painless, remember these seven tips for taking care of your teeth.)
  • 5 foods to avoid if you want to avoid cavities (While he or she is probably a wonderful doctor, avoid these five foods if you want to minimize the amount of time you spend with your dentist in Tallahassee this year.)

Ideally, the article should be able to work no matter what city you plug in. Will it sound a little weird sometimes? Yeah, probably — especially with this client since many of the keywords it’s provided are missing stop words (like “in”), and for this client, you shouldn’t revise them.

If the keyword was “dentist Tallahassee” – without the word “in” the same suggestions would change to this:

  • 3 things to look for in a dentist (Here are three things to keep in mind as you search for a dentist Tallahassee.)
  • 3 things to avoid in a dentist (Here are three things to watch out for as you search for a dentist Tallahassee.)
  • Why you should consider dental insurance (Before you make your next appointment with your dentist Tallahassee, here are four reasons why you might consider dental insurance.)
  • How to take care of your teeth in between trips to the dentist’s office (If you want to make sure your next visit to your dentist Tallahassee is short and painless, remember these seven tips for taking care of your teeth.)
  • 5 foods to avoid if you want to avoid cavities (While he or she is probably a wonderful doctor, avoid these five foods if you want to minimize the amount of time you spend with your dentist Tallahassee this year.)

Even though they are awkward, you can’t fix the keyword to make it flow more smoothly.

How to use a keyword when it is the name of a person

When a keyword is a person:

  • Did I read about the person from the included client URL?
  • Did I add context to the paragraph so the person’s name fits?
  • Does the placement of their name sound natural or forced?

Good:

Example 1

Track Everything With an App

The President and CEO of CURO Financial Technologies Corp, Don Gayhardt, is a huge fan of tracking expenses with apps. Mobile and web apps are convenient, not to mention aesthetically pleasing, which may make you more interested in using them. Some apps, such as ChangEd, focus solely on helping you pay off old debt. Others, like Mint, allow you to track everyday expenses while you’re on the go so that you don’t forget to enter them into a spreadsheet at the end of the day.

Example 2

Know the Target You’re Aiming For

The first thing you want to do is think like a major marketing and development officer like Chipotle’s Mark Crumpacker. The restaurant chain hasn’t become as successful as it has by taking a scattershot approach to advertising and marketing. Decide on your specific goal for marketing. Do you want to promote a new service or product? Or have you decided to turn your advertising efforts to social media platforms? Whatever the goal, keep it in the forefront of your mind as you lay out and tweak your marketing strategy.

Forced (don’t do it this way):

Example 1

Money Management

Learning to manage your money is important. Just ask someone like Don Gayhardt. Overspending can lead to stress and debt that can become suffocating. If you can learn to manage your money now you save yourself anxiety and headaches in the future. There are numerous online budgeting courses that are entirely free. Spend an afternoon or two listening to what financial advisors recommend for money management.

Example 2

Solar Energy

If you are interested in adding solar panels to your home you’re not alone. The trend toward solar energy is ramping up, people all over the world, like Peter Foyo, see the value in renewable energy. Not only can it save you money it can be a huge bonus for Mother Nature, as well.

Link Vehicle SEO articles deviate from the standard BKA article in that the keyword doesn’t have to be the article’s main focus; you can mention it in passing, as long as it is related to the overall article topic.

Here are some approaches you can take:

Focus 1: If “cookie bouquets” is your keyword, each section of your article could discuss a different type of bouquet: flowers, gift cards, pens, cookies. All 300 words do not need to focus on cookie bouquets.

Focus 2: If “sludge dewatering” is your keyword, and you see that the client you are writing for fixes and services water treatment equipment, you could focus your article on why it’s a good idea to keep that equipment in good running order. “Sludge dewatering” just needs to be one of the things you mention in passing. You do not need a whole section on sludge dewatering.

Focus 3: If “fuel separation system” is your keyword, a quick look at the link URL shows it is designed to improve diesel engine performance. No need to write about how the system works, what diesel engines are, or how to improve engine performance. Just find a topic that makes sense to link to the client’s site. You could choose something like “5 Tips for New Truck Drivers.” For one tip, discuss that taking care of the truck, including the engine and the fuel separation system, can ensure top performance. The rest of the tips can be basic things such as getting enough sleep, planning your route ahead of time, and watching the weather.

These articles are basic SEO articles. The purpose is not to explain the keyword, rather it is to have a link back to the client’s URL that makes sense. The more viable links the client has the higher they will rank for the keyword. Most of the publishing URLs (the website where the article will be placed) are general sites and a very technical article would not fit well on the site anyway.

In other words, content can be very general. However, be sure to avoid repetition of ideas, fluff, and negativity.

Here are some basic steps you can take:

1. Go to the client website to get a general idea of the product/services offered – spend less than 5 minutes doing this.

2. Based on what you gleaned, choose a focus for your article where the keyword is somewhat related. You just need to be able to use the keyword in a way that the link makes sense – no need to focus on the keyword.

3. Ideas for article focus:

  • 4 Things You Can Do to …
  • Top 5 Reasons …
  • Why ___ Is Important
  • Different Ways to…
  • How To Do…
  • How To Choose …
  • Benefits of …
  • When To Do …
  • Who Should Do …
  • What You Need To Know About …
  • Facts About …
  • Tips for Finding …
  • Why You Need …
  • Which ________ Should You Choose?
  • 4 Guidelines for …
  • Proper Care of …
  • Preparing …

4. Once you’ve determined your focus, Google something related to it to find a good site to link to. You’ll probably find some good information to help with your article. (Do not copy and paste source content – you can use the ideas but must write them in your own words.) Make sure the article you use is not from a competitor if you want to add it as a link.

5. Write a general article and add the links as requested in the style guide.
