Bold encompasses many brands – LiveCareer, MyPerfectResume, ResumeNow, etc. We are creating on-page content to encourage users to view resume samples and use the resume builder. Each brand has its own voice, so please pay attention to the voice for the brand you are writing for.

Do’s and Don’ts
- Please use the Oxford (serial) comma.
- Use active voice. NO passive voice! Use this free grammar checker.
- For this client, “jobseeker” is one word.
- Do not use the word “highlight.” Some readers take this literally and highlight portions of the letter, which is not appropriate. Instead, use phrases such as “illuminate,” “draw attention to,” and “point out.”
- Don’t use “OK.” Please spell out the word “okay.”
- Don’t write the word “percent.” Use the symbol “%” instead.
- Use HTML tags for links.
- Use HTML tags for bolded or italicized text.
- Use HTML tags for bullet lists and ordered lists.

Sections 1-2-3
Section 1 – 70 words – keyword 1 time
- Create a title that is about 35 characters long (including spaces; no more than 35 characters) and that includes the keyword “resume samples.” Put pipe characters around the headline. Make sure there are no spaces between the pipe characters and the letters.
- The headline should capture the comprehensiveness of LiveCareer’s resume samples selection.
- Write an introduction that introduces LiveCareer resume samples. Please use strong marketing language to show that we are the authority for resume samples. Specifically, tell readers that LiveCareer boasts “the most comprehensive library of resume samples by industry and job title to help you get the job you want.” You can also say that we have “thousands of resume samples.” Emphasize that these samples are “compatible with MS Word and PDF.” We want to emphasize how user-friendly it is to use our resume samples.

A resume that lands you the job should follow a specific format, such as chronological, reverse chronological, functional, or combination. Research the industry and the company to which you are applying and choose the format best-suited to the job and the company culture. A creative resume format may not sit well for a corporate position, for example, but chronological may work fine.

Lightbox
Lightbox – 410 words
A lightbox is a small box that will appear as a reader hovers over a resume sample image with the cursor. Each [industry] resume sample will require 6 lightbox descriptions for the 6 featured resume samples. There are no headers for the lightboxes – just 70-word descriptions.
Using the 6 resume samples for your [industry], create a short description of when/why the reader may choose to use the resume sample. The description should be approximately 70 words long (do not go over 70).
