  • The client is wanting to rewrite and/or create new content for their product descriptions while adding relevant keywords.  They want these descriptions written in a natural, conversational tone that describes the products, product features, usage or includes other promotional language.  Basically, just go to the URL for each product and add to and improve the copy while naturally working in the keywords.

Product Information

Go to http://mediusa.com/orthopedics/,  http://mediusa.com/portfolio-item/circaid-ready-to-wear-and-customs/ (CircAid) and http://mediusa.com/portfolio-item/mediven-customs/ (mediven) and search for the product name/SKU for information.

Keywords:

  • The product names are listed in the “Article Topic” column and should be used in the copy at least once (ideally in the first sentence or two).
  • Select 3-5 descriptive keywords from the existing product description and use them in the bullet points. Each keyword only needs to be inserted one time, and then can be used naturally throughout.
  • Try to include several of the keywords in the title.

Format: 

This client is very particular about the voice. Please try to mimic the voice of the example descriptions, and be consistent.

Note: Every time you use “circaid,” it needs to be lower case, same for mediven. Style names are capitalized.

  • For example, circaid (brand) + Juxtafit (style).

Note: Do not use trademark symbols

Note: Character counts include spaces (try to get as close as you can to the character limit without going over).

Title: no more than 80 characters

  • (Brand Name) (Style Name) (Keywords)

5 Bullets: No more than 250 characters each – Capitalize the first word in each bullet (except bullet 1)

  • Due to formatting issues with the final copy, please do not use actual bullet points in front. Just start a new paragraph for each point.
  • First word should be a keyword or attention grabbing word (Capitalized; except in bullet 1) – Stay consistent for each bullet
  • Put the most important information first: why the consumer should buy these, application, answering any questions that a typical consumer may ask, etc.
    • Material contents would be low priority compared to high priority of benefits
  • Minimize repeated words and use synonyms instead to help with SEO.
  • Recommended conditions: make sure all of the conditions in the spreadsheet and on the website are included.

  • Save the article as the ”product name – medi circaid”.   Make sure to use a short dash.
